Bradon and Erin’s Wedding

Guys, let me tell you, this wedding day was a party from beginning to end!  We had party music playing in the morning during hair and makeup and I honestly don’t know if I have ever had a reception with such a packed dance floor.  These people know how to have fun!  I photographed Erin’s brother’s wedding a couple years ago and I was so excited when she hired me to photograph her wedding, too!  And if you don’t remember Erin and Bradon’s gorgeous engagement session, you can check it out here.  The day started with hair and makeup in Greenwood before we drove downtown to the beautiful Tabernacle Presbyterian Church.  After the bride and groom were ready, we did a sweet first look and then dove right into all the photos.  Their pastor from Harvest Bible Chapel performed the ceremony and the message he shared was so solid and focused on the Lord and glorifying Him in marriage.  I consider myself really lucky to get to hear amazing ceremonies about God and marriage – it’s one of the many perks of being a wedding photographer.  After the ceremony, we hopped on a trolley and went to Monument Circle for a few more photos.  It was pretty crazy at the circle.  There was a stage set up for a concert on one end, what looked like a mariachi band on the other end and other bridal parties all fighting for spots to get some photos.  We were patient and got some pics before driving over to the Rathskellar/Athenaeum for the party.  And it was a party!  I had a blast photographing all the excitement and fun on the dance floor.  Congrats, Bradon and Erin on your beautiful wedding day and marriage.  Thank you for letting me be a part of your gorgeous day.2017-09-14_00012017-09-14_00022017-09-14_00052017-09-14_02972017-09-14_00062017-09-14_00072017-09-14_00082017-09-14_00092017-09-14_00112017-09-14_00122017-09-14_00152017-09-14_00162017-09-14_00172017-09-14_00182017-09-14_00192017-09-14_00212017-09-14_00232017-09-14_00252017-09-14_00262017-09-14_00272017-09-14_00282017-09-14_02982017-09-14_00382017-09-14_00312017-09-14_00322017-09-14_00332017-09-14_00342017-09-14_00352017-09-14_00362017-09-14_00392017-09-14_00402017-09-14_00412017-09-14_00422017-09-14_00432017-09-14_00442017-09-14_00452017-09-14_00462017-09-14_00472017-09-14_00492017-09-14_00502017-09-14_00512017-09-14_00532017-09-14_00542017-09-14_00562017-09-14_00572017-09-14_00582017-09-14_00592017-09-14_00602017-09-14_00612017-09-14_00622017-09-14_00632017-09-14_00652017-09-14_00662017-09-14_00672017-09-14_00692017-09-14_00702017-09-14_00722017-09-14_00752017-09-14_00762017-09-14_00772017-09-14_00792017-09-14_00802017-09-14_00812017-09-14_00822017-09-14_00832017-09-14_00842017-09-14_00872017-09-14_00892017-09-14_00912017-09-14_00932017-09-14_00952017-09-14_00962017-09-14_00972017-09-14_01012017-09-14_01152017-09-14_01162017-09-14_01032017-09-14_01062017-09-14_01072017-09-14_01082017-09-14_01112017-09-14_01132017-09-14_01172017-09-14_01182017-09-14_01192017-09-14_01202017-09-14_01232017-09-14_01302017-09-14_01312017-09-14_01322017-09-14_01342017-09-14_01352017-09-14_01362017-09-14_01372017-09-14_01382017-09-14_01392017-09-14_01402017-09-14_01422017-09-14_01432017-09-14_01442017-09-14_01452017-09-14_01472017-09-14_01492017-09-14_01502017-09-14_01522017-09-14_01532017-09-14_01542017-09-14_01552017-09-14_01562017-09-14_00372017-09-14_01582017-09-14_01592017-09-14_01602017-09-14_01612017-09-14_01622017-09-14_01632017-09-14_01642017-09-14_01662017-09-14_01672017-09-14_01702017-09-14_01722017-09-14_01732017-09-14_01742017-09-14_01752017-09-14_01762017-09-14_01772017-09-14_01792017-09-14_01802017-09-14_01812017-09-14_01822017-09-14_01862017-09-14_01872017-09-14_01882017-09-14_01892017-09-14_01902017-09-14_01912017-09-14_01922017-09-14_01952017-09-14_01962017-09-14_01972017-09-14_01982017-09-14_01992017-09-14_02002017-09-14_02012017-09-14_02032017-09-14_02042017-09-14_02022017-09-14_02052017-09-14_02072017-09-14_02112017-09-14_02122017-09-14_02132017-09-14_02142017-09-14_02162017-09-14_02172017-09-14_02192017-09-14_02202017-09-14_02212017-09-14_02242017-09-14_02252017-09-14_02262017-09-14_02272017-09-14_02282017-09-14_02292017-09-14_02302017-09-14_02312017-09-14_02322017-09-14_02332017-09-14_02342017-09-14_02352017-09-14_02362017-09-14_02372017-09-14_02382017-09-14_02392017-09-14_02402017-09-14_02412017-09-14_02422017-09-14_02432017-09-14_02442017-09-14_02452017-09-14_02462017-09-14_02472017-09-14_02482017-09-14_02492017-09-14_02502017-09-14_02512017-09-14_02532017-09-14_02542017-09-14_02562017-09-14_02572017-09-14_02592017-09-14_02602017-09-14_02632017-09-14_02642017-09-14_02662017-09-14_02682017-09-14_02692017-09-14_02702017-09-14_02712017-09-14_02722017-09-14_02732017-09-14_02742017-09-14_02752017-09-14_02762017-09-14_02772017-09-14_02782017-09-14_02792017-09-14_02802017-09-14_02812017-09-14_02822017-09-14_02832017-09-14_02842017-09-14_02852017-09-14_02862017-09-14_02872017-09-14_02882017-09-14_02892017-09-14_02902017-09-14_02912017-09-14_02922017-09-14_02932017-09-14_02942017-09-14_02952017-09-14_0296

Jon and Janel’s Wedding

Oh my goodness, guys!  I can’t tell you how much I loved this wedding day!  I fell in love with this couple when I did their engagement shoot last February (you can see it here).  They are kind and sweet and genuine people.  They love Jesus and love others.  They love to laugh and snuggle together and are naturals in front of the camera.  The wedding started at Janel’s sister’s AMAZING historic home in Franklin, IN.  Seriously, guys, this house is gorgeous.  They have put so much work into it and everywhere I looked, I was in awe.  After the girls were all ready, we did a few photos in Franklin before we drove to Jon’s grandparents’ home where Jon and Janel had a small intimate ceremony in his grandparents’ woods with their closest family and friends.  There were so many sweet moments throughout the day but the one that hit me the most was a part of the ceremony.  Janel’s maid of honor read a poem that Janel’s grandma had written before she passed away.  The poem is titled “If I knew” and the words speak so much wisdom and truth about life and love.  It was a wonderful and beautiful moment.  After the ceremony, we did more photos in and around the woods and then drove to Janel’s parents’ home for the big reception with tons of their friends and family.  Her parents built an amazing barn that is perfect for weddings.  Another sweet moment was after dinner.  Jon and Janel don’t really like cake, so instead of sharing a bite of cake they fed each other a bite of their favorite thing – ice cream!  I love how little details like this truly reflected them as a couple on their big day.  Jon and Janel danced their first dance as the sun set behind them and then we partied the night away.  There are so many photos in this blog post – I know I have a problem – but I just love taking photos and I love sharing them.  So, enjoy!2017-09-07_00012017-09-07_00032017-09-07_00042017-09-07_00052017-09-07_00062017-09-07_00072017-09-07_00082017-09-07_00092017-09-07_00102017-09-07_00112017-09-07_00142017-09-07_00162017-09-07_00212017-09-07_00222017-09-07_00252017-09-07_00262017-09-07_00282017-09-07_00302017-09-07_00312017-09-07_00322017-09-07_00332017-09-07_00342017-09-07_00352017-09-07_00362017-09-07_00372017-09-07_00382017-09-07_00392017-09-07_00402017-09-07_00412017-09-07_00432017-09-07_00452017-09-07_00482017-09-07_00492017-09-07_00502017-09-07_00522017-09-07_00532017-09-07_00552017-09-07_00562017-09-07_00572017-09-07_00582017-09-07_00592017-09-07_00602017-09-07_00612017-09-07_00622017-09-07_00632017-09-07_00642017-09-07_00652017-09-07_00672017-09-07_00682017-09-07_00732017-09-07_00742017-09-07_00712017-09-07_00772017-09-07_00782017-09-07_00752017-09-07_00792017-09-07_00802017-09-07_00822017-09-07_00852017-09-07_00842017-09-07_00862017-09-07_00882017-09-07_00892017-09-07_00912017-09-07_00922017-09-07_00952017-09-07_00962017-09-07_00972017-09-07_00982017-09-07_00992017-09-07_01002017-09-07_01012017-09-07_01022017-09-07_01032017-09-07_01042017-09-07_01062017-09-07_01072017-09-07_01082017-09-07_01092017-09-07_01102017-09-07_01112017-09-07_01122017-09-07_01132017-09-07_01142017-09-07_01152017-09-07_01172017-09-07_01182017-09-07_01192017-09-07_01202017-09-07_01212017-09-07_01232017-09-07_01242017-09-07_01252017-09-07_01262017-09-07_01272017-09-07_01292017-09-07_01302017-09-07_01312017-09-07_01332017-09-07_01342017-09-07_01372017-09-07_01392017-09-07_01402017-09-07_01412017-09-07_01432017-09-07_01462017-09-07_01482017-09-07_01492017-09-07_01502017-09-07_01512017-09-07_01522017-09-07_01562017-09-07_01572017-09-07_01582017-09-07_01602017-09-07_01642017-09-07_01652017-09-07_01662017-09-07_01672017-09-07_01682017-09-07_01692017-09-07_01712017-09-07_01732017-09-07_01742017-09-07_01752017-09-07_01762017-09-07_01782017-09-07_01812017-09-07_01822017-09-07_01832017-09-07_01842017-09-07_01852017-09-07_01882017-09-07_01892017-09-07_01902017-09-07_01912017-09-07_01942017-09-07_01952017-09-07_01962017-09-07_01982017-09-07_01992017-09-07_02002017-09-07_02012017-09-07_02022017-09-07_02032017-09-07_02042017-09-07_02052017-09-07_02062017-09-07_02072017-09-07_02082017-09-07_02092017-09-07_02102017-09-07_02112017-09-07_02122017-09-07_02132017-09-07_02142017-09-07_02152017-09-07_02172017-09-07_02182017-09-07_02192017-09-07_02222017-09-07_02242017-09-07_02252017-09-07_02262017-09-07_02272017-09-07_02282017-09-07_02292017-09-07_02302017-09-07_02312017-09-07_02322017-09-07_02332017-09-07_02342017-09-07_02352017-09-07_02362017-09-07_02372017-09-07_02382017-09-07_02392017-09-07_02402017-09-07_02412017-09-07_02422017-09-07_02432017-09-07_0244

Morgan and Holyn

This is Morgan and Holyn.  I have known Morgan since he was a little guy and have loved watching him grow into the funny, amazing guy that he is today.  And I’ve recently gotten to know Holyn really well because she has been interning with me this year.  I’m so proud of her and how she is learning and growing as a photographer!  I absolutely love her and our fun conversations in the car on the way to and from weddings.  These two met at GCA and have been dating for years.  It has been so much fun watching their relationship grow – and a few months ago, I had the awesome privilege of photographing Morgan proposing to Holyn!  Needless to say, I couldn’t wait to shoot their engagement session.  I knew with Morgan’s humor, we would be laughing most of the evening.  And Holyn can not take a bad photo!  Holy cow – her eyes! And, get this, I get to fly out to the Grand Canyon to photograph their wedding in March!  Here are some of my favorites from their session!  Congrats, Holyn and Morgan!
